Assets & Consumables

Manage all your consumable and fixed assets on your farm

Start by navigating to Management / Assets. Here you can create, manage and organize your assets.

Assets can be organized in two levels, categories and groups.

• Categories - The top level managing your assets. An example of categories can be "Vehicles" or "Machinery"

• Groups - Each asset category can be broken down into different groups.

  • For your "Vehicles" category your groups may consist of Bakkie, Car, Tractor, Truck etc.

  • For your "Machinery" category your groups may consist of Comine, Forklift, Sprayer etc.

Every asset you create belongs to a group to help you keep everything well organised.

Category

Navigate to the Categories tab and click on the "+ Add" button.

1. Provide a name and description for your category

   1. You can always edit this at a later stage

2. Click on Save

To edit a category click on an item in the table.

Groups

Navigate to the Groups tab and click on the "+ Add" button.

1. Select the Category to which this group belongs to.

2. Provide a name and description

3. Click on Save

To edit a group click on an item in the table.

Assets

Two types of assets can be created i.e. Consumables and Fixed assets.

Fixed Asset

Fixed assets are long-term assets that a company has purchased and is using for the production of its goods and services.

• STIHL Chainsaw MS 310

Consumable Assets

Consumables are assets that are not tracked individually, but as a group of the same model.

• Clothing

• Packaging material

• PPE

Add Asset

Navigate to the Assets tab and click on the "+ Add" button

1. Select the Category

2. Select the Group in the Category

3. Provide a name and description

4. Check the box if this asset is a consumable

5. Click on Save

To edit an Asset click on an item in the table

Tag Assignment

Assign a asset tag to your fixed assets to identify them with the device.

1. Sign in as a User on the device

2. Select the "Tag Assign" tile

3. Click on the "Assets" option in the bottom navigation

4. Click on the red NFC icon next to the asset you wish to assign

5. Scan the asset tag with the device

6. Repeat this process for every asset

7. Selec the toggle switch in the top navigation bar to view all assigned assets
