Rugged Android Devices (Locked)

These devices are exclusively for use with the AllWage Application and cannot perform any other functions.

What is included

  • Rugged Android device for data capturing in the field, locked to the AllWage App to prevent access to other applications.

  • Each device comes with a data SIM card, managed by AllWage at a fee per device per month. These SIM cards are network-locked and cannot be used for other applications.

Warranty

  1. All devices are sold with a 12-month warranty counted from the date of purchase directly with local suppliers

  2. Warranty does not apply to the following

    1. Damage due to accident, misuse, abuse, alterations or vandalism

    2. Improper or inadequate maintenance

    3. Unauthorised modification

    4. Damage in transit

Device Repairs

One of our services is assisting you in repairing and maintaining all broken devices purchased from us.

Submitting a repair request:

Please reach out to us on one of our support channels and provide the following information:

  1. Describe the Issue: Please provide a brief description of what is wrong (e.g., "cracked screen," "won't charge," or "GPS signal lost").

    1. Visual Evidence: You are welcome to send a short video or a screenshot showing the error or the physical damage. This helps our technicians diagnose the problem much faster and reduces back-and-forth communication.

  2. Identify Your Device: To process your request, we need specific identification details. Depending on whether your device is functional or not, please provide the following:

    1. If the device powers on:

      1. You can find these details directly within the app. You can either type these details out or simply send us a screenshot of the info:

        1. Open the app on your device

        2. Tap the Menu icon (three horizontal stripes) in the top left corner.

        3. Send us the IMEI, Phone number, and Device name that is displayed there.

    2. If the device does not power on:

      1. Check for a sticker on the back of the device containing the IMEI number and Model.

      2. If labels are missing or unreadable, send a clear photo of the SIM card currently inserted in the device.

Repair Process

  1. After submitting a repair request you will receive an email with instructions on the repair process and a device repair booking form of the local supplier that will carry out the repair

  2. When packaging the broken device/s ensure the repair form is included with the package. Failure to send the package with this information will result in delays.

  3. Once the parcel arrives at the repair centre, you will receive a confirmation email

    1. Customers are responsible for courier costs

  4. An initial assessment fee per device may be charged before the repair quote is issued.

  5. After the device/s are diagnosed, you will receive a quotation with the amount payable for repairs

    1. If the device is still under warranty and damage is determined to be a factory fault, repairs will be free of charge

  6. The payment must be made directly to the repair facility

    1. Customers are responsible for the repair cost

  7. Once the repair is completed, the device/s must be returned to AllWage for software installation

    1. Devices will be inspected and configured for data capturing

  8. After inspection, the device/s will be couriered to the customer

    1. Customers are responsible for courier costs

If a device is deemed beyond economical repair, or if you do not wish to proceed with repairs, please notify our support team so that managed SIM cards can be deactivated to avoid further monthly management fees.

Silicone Watch Wristbands

What is included

Silicone adjustable wristband with embedded RFID chip. These wristbands are used to identify each employee on the platform.

Please be aware that the adjustable wristbands include a small metal clip. This may pose health and safety risks in food processing environments. Contact support for a non-metal, non-adjustable alternative wristband.

Warranty

  1. Due to the nature of the product, any physical damage to wristbands will not be replaced.

  2. Faulty RFID chips in wristbands will be replaced at no extra cost.

Repairs / Returns Policy

Please provide the relevant information to your dedicated Onboarding Specialist or Customer Success Manager for any returns on faulty wristbands.

Order Process

Please contact support to place a hardware order and indicate what product and the amount you would like to order.

  1. Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email as well as a Quotation Estimate stating the full amount payable.

  2. Make a payment to the banking details provided on the bottom of the Quotation and forward your proof of payment to [email protected].

    1. Please use your company name and quote number as a reference for the payment.

    2. Using the wrong reference number will result in a delay in processing your parcel.

  3. Only after we have received a proof of payment will we start processing your hardware order and send you a tax invoice.

  4. We make use of The Courier Guy for all our deliveries and collections. To ensure the most cost-effective shipping fee, we encourage clients to provide the address of their nearest Courier Guy Hub for drop-offs or collections.

  5. Once your order is processed, you will receive an email with a waybill number.

  6. We will follow up with the courier company to make sure that the parcel is delivered safely.

Lead Time

Hardware orders will be processed upon receipt of payment confirmation sent to [email protected] or once the payment is reflected in our bank account. Preparation of orders commences upon receipt of payment. Orders are dispatched within 2 working days after preparation, and delivery typically takes 2-5 working days depending on location.

Should stock shortages or unexpected delays occur, we will inform you promptly and provide updates as necessary. We are committed to delivering the best possible service and endeavour to minimise any potential delays.

Biometric Devices

AllWage has partnered with Biometrics3G arrow-up-rightto provide state-of-the-art biometric clocking devices capable of facial recognition and fingerprint scanning. All devices also have optional functionality to scan RFID wristbands. These devices directly integrate with the AllWage platform for live data capturing.

AllWage are not the suppliers of biometric devices. Biometrics3G is responsible for installation, training and maintenance.

Use your own hardware

If you would like to use your own hardware instead of our recommended devices, please review the specifications and requirements outlined below to ensure compatibility with our system.

Hardware Requirements

Your device must meet the following criteria to ensure smooth operation with our Android application:

  1. NFC (Near Field Communication) Compatibility

    1. Your device must support NFC technology to scan RFID wristbands effectively.

    2. How to Test NFC Compatibility:

      1. Go to the Google Play Store on your device.

      2. Search for the "Agrigistics" app.

      3. If the app appears as an option to download, your device is likely compatible. If not, it will not work with the RFID wristbands.

  2. Supported RFID Tag Type

    1. The RFID wristbands used are 13.56 MHz RFID tags. Your device must support scanning this specific tag type.

  3. Android Devices Only

    1. Important: The app is not compatible with iOS devices (e.g., iPhones). Only Android devices, typically modern or newer models, can be used.

  4. Key Considerations When Using Your Own Hardware

    1. Performance Variations: While our app and software are optimized for fast and accurate operation, not all Android devices are created equal. If you experience delays or inefficiencies in scanning or clocking, it is likely due to the hardware's limitations and not the platform.

    2. No Hardware Liability: AllWage does not accept responsibility for performance issues caused by third-party hardware.

  5. Recommended Option: Our Approved Hardware

    1. For guaranteed compatibility, reliability, and support, we recommend using our approved hardware, which includes rugged Android devices. These devices are specifically tested and optimized for use with our app.

    2. Advantages of Using Our Hardware: Seamless synchronization and clocking. Dedicated support for maintenance, repairs, and replacements. If you would like to purchase hardware directly through us, we can facilitate the process to ensure a smooth experience. Alternatively, we can connect you with our trusted supplier.
