Get an overview of all present and absent employees for the current day and a summary of all issues and notable exceptions from the past 7 days. This dashboard also allows you to interact with and resolve issues and exceptions.

Quick Actions

Add missing data for employees

From the quick actions add missing data for one or more employees:

  • Add Leave

  • Add clock-in

  • Add clock-out

  • Add full day

Current Day

  • Present Employees Today: Displays the number of employees currently present.

  • Absent Employees Today: Displays the number of employees currently absent.

Total present and absent employees for the current day

Click on one of the tiles to view all the present or absent employees for the current day. You will also be able to view each individual employee's clock-in and clock-out times.

Clock Exceptions

The following section provides all the clocking exceptions for the previous 7 days. Click on a specific day to fix these errors. The three types of exceptions are:

Clocking exceptions
  • Missing clock templates: This indicates that an employee has clocked in on the day but there is no shift configured in their clock template. To address this, the days should be configured in the clock template by following these steps: Update clock template This exception will also indicate when an employee is clocking in, but not assigned to a clock template. To address this, assign a clock template to the employee(s) by following these steps: Assign clock template.

  • Missing clock in: There is only a clock out for an employee on the day. To address this, add a clock in by follow these steps:

    1. Click on the red rectangle surrounding the affected day.

    2. Click on "Add clock in"

    3. You are able to remove employees from this override by clicking on the x next to their name.

    4. Ensure all required fields (indicated with *) is entered.

    5. Click on "Add/Update Date" after the clock in time was entered.

    6. Click on "Save"

  • Missing clock out: There is only a clock in for an employee on the day. To address this, add a clock out by follow these steps:

    1. Click on the red rectangle surrounding the affected day.

    2. Click on "Add clock out"

    3. You are able to remove employees from this override by clicking on the x next to their name.

    4. Ensure all required fields (indicated with *) is entered.

    5. Click on "Add/Update Date" after the clock out time was entered.

    6. Click on "Save"

Notable Exceptions

The notable exceptions section provides a summary of all employees that might require attention. Click on a specific icon to attend to the exception. This includes:

Employees that might require attention
  • Overtime: Employees that worked more than the required hours per day. Bulk Overrides can be used to adjust overtime.

  • Short-time: Employees that worked less than the required hours per day. Bulk Overrides can be used to adjust short time.

  • Absent: Employees that did not work but were expected to. Bulk Overrides can be used to address absentees.

  • Extended days: Employees whose working days extended to the next working day, i.e., they worked past midnight.

Daily graphs allow you to view daily trends for all employees.

  • Employee Count: The total number of employees that clocked in on a specific day.

  • Normal Hours: The total normal hours clocked on each day.

  • Overtime Hours: The total overtime hours clocked on each day.

  • Saturday Hours: The total hours worked on the previous Saturday.

  • Sunday Hours: The total hours worked on the previous Sunday.

  • Public Hours: The total hours worked on public holidays.
